I am a musician, producer, and audio engineer from Lucerne. I’ve been writing music and performing on stage as a singer and multi-instrumentalist since 20 years. From 2006 to 2016, I mainly toured with Eluveitie, and since 2016 I have been focusing on my own folk and prog bands Cellar Darling and Maer, as well as theater productions.
In addition to live shows and creative work, I developed an early interest in the technical side of music. At Soundfarm, I learned recording and mixing from Marco Jencarelli from 2011 to 2014, and in 2021 I further trained in mastering with Dan Suter at Echochamber. Since 2017, my focus has been on studio work. I’ve also recorded and produced in other studios — including New Sound Studio (CH), Gabriel Recording (CH), and Seahorse Sound (USA). I am also part of the mastering team at Echochamber in Zurich.
I grew up with theater and classical music, but for many years stood on stage as a rock, metal, folk, and pop musician. Because of this, my musical horizon is very broad, and I don't focus on any specific genre. Whether it's jazz, folk, death metal, or synth pop — everything is in good hands with me. The best way is to simply get in touch, and then we can see if we're a good fit.
PRODUCING / ARRANGING / COMPOSITION
For many years, I have been active as a musician, producer, composer, and arranger. After studying at the Lucerne Conservatory and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), I performed on numerous stages across Switzerland and Europe as a violinist, electric bassist, and orchestral musician.
As a composer and arranger, I have had the opportunity to distinguish myself through collaborations with renowned artists, orchestras, and bands, and have realized many theater and music productions.
My extensive experience as a violinist and arranger, combined with my work as a studio musician and producer, provides the perfect blend for creating professional string arrangements for modern productions.
